Where do I go 1st Saturday meal and Sunday brunch in the Quarter

I'll be in Nola from 1/2-1/8 my wife has never been west of the missisippi. Where should we be going for our first culinary experience

    1. Start off with Galatoire's on Bourbon St. for lunch or dinner. Brunch...try EAT on Dauphine St. It is BYOL.

      During your visit, please take a cab to Commander's and Delmonico's. Always wonderful.

          We'll be there for 5 days any other recommendations from expensive to moderate
          Grits and Grillades at EATS or something else
          I know about Brightstens and Green Goddess.
          no a big steak fan is Irene the place to go for duck? Any suggestions would be grately appreciated. i'm getting confused with so many choices and what is Gumbo yaya

              heres a few suggestions for poboys Parkway Bakery and Tavern and maybe Johnnys in the quarter. good neighborhood places Luzzas on bienville and Mandinas on canal. K Pauls and Mr. Bs are tough to beat for the upper end.
