Dinner party for birthday celebration with party of six on a Friday night - for a group this size, is seating better downstairs (coat requirement not an issue) or upstairs? Do you have a special table you prefer? Please advise. Thank you.

Did you end up having your dinner there? If so, how was it?

get seated upstairs. we had a 9 for dinner there this summer. they gave us the space just under the skylight so it felt like private dining (even though there really are no walls separating you from the rest of the upstairs dining) and it was fantastic

My impression from their website was that the upstairs was only open for lunch, but I may well be wrong.
