I imagine Rasika in Penn Quarter will have something going on. http://www.rasikarestaurant.com/

Rasika is wonderful, but seems to already be booked up for New Year's Eve (in fact, according to Open Table, was booked up two weeks ago when I first checked).

Sometimes there are tables available if you call...they just aren't available on Open Table.

The Bombay Club (BC) is the more formal sibling to Rasika. The decor is more upscale. (Actually, my husband and I like the atmosphere at BC better because there are more soft surfaces to absorb noise and we find conversation easier.) The cooking at BC is slighty more traditional, but every bit as delicious as at Rasika. Rasika's famous Spinach appetizer is offered at BC with one small tweak; it combines both spinach and arugula.
Bombay Club isn't offering a special New Year's Menu. Otherwise, you might consider BC if you can't snag a New Year's Eve reservation at Rasika.
