Casual non-Christmas meal in NoVA?

This is our first holiday season in the area. Will restaurants like China Star be open on Christmas Day? If not, any suggestions? We don't celebrate Christmas, and I'd rather not drive around hunting for open restaurants with a hungry toddler. We ended up going to Yechon on Thanksgiving, and it was packed.

Thanks, and Happy Holidays

Most asian restaurants will be open. We usually do pho after a movie; I haven't encountered a vietnamese restaurant closed on the 25th yet.

I don't know about China Star specifically, but many Asian restaurants are open on the 25th.

If Eden Center isn't too far for you, it's a pretty sure bet that there will be something open there.

For future reference, I went to Eden Center on the 25th. However, I couldn't eat there, as it was mobbed, and I couldn't find parking. The snow accumulations at the time did block some parking spots; however, it was the busiest I've seen Eden Center in ages.

I ended up going to Banh Mi DC Sandwich, further down Route 50. They had summer rolls with barbecued pork, which I had never seen before - extremely tasty.
