Did Jack Sprat's Grille close??

rocktheglobe Dec 22, 2009 04:12 PM

I read something on Eater LA that Jack Sprat's had been replaced by some burger joint called "The Six" -- what happened? I loved Jack Sprat's -- their air fries, burgers and sandwiches were amazing, and I really liked getting the pretzels before the meal.

Yes, it is now THE SIX restaurant although the Jack Spratt's signage is up. The menu still has the air fries, but that is the only similarity. I am actually excited about this. I always wanted to love the food at JS as I am a healthy eater but it always sounded better than it tasted. Really bland.

bruinike - you are really generous with compliments that were never even earned.
Sprat reinvented the term bland, as in no flavor.
Fortunately, times have passed, new places have realized that there can be better flavored healthy food, and maybe the Six might even be one of them.
Devin Klein, Will Karges and Jacob King are the principals behind The Six.
