Private or semi-private room for 30 in Calgary..

Looking for a restaurant that can accommodate 30 people. A private room is preferred but not essential. We ate at Sugo last year and they put us along one side and it was perfect. Not particular about food type; as long as it is good!

Teatro has the opera room which I'd had a private dinner for 35 people and it was perfect - plus the food is fantastic.

The Ranche has two private rooms that can accomodate 30+. Cozy, rustic western Canadian fair priced right. Part of the CRMR group, so you know its good.

Bonterra has a great private room. I'm not too sure how many people it fit, but it might be worth looking into.

I went to a private party at Taste last week. It was perfect as they closed down the restaurant for us. It's a small, stylish space so 30 people would fill it nicely. Food was awesome (loved the lamb chops), great service. I would recommend. Oh, but we did a cocktail party style - they might not be able to do sit-down for that many. If not, I like Teatro, Divino and St. Germain for events. Good luck - lots of choice out there!
