Private Room for 8 + a Baby?

Looking for a restaurant where we can comfortably have a family celebration that includes my 15 month-old daughter. This is for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary, so would like it to be somewhat upscale in terms of both food and service. Unfortunately that does not really make complete sense when there is a high chair involved.

We currently have early (5:30 PM) reservations at Kefi this Sunday, a time and setting where my daughter can be as cute as she wants without bothering anyone, but one that is a little more casual than would be ideal from a food and presentation perspective.

So, does anyone have any general suggestions that would have a private room for that small a group where we could take advantage of slightly more upscale (think Babbo, not le Bernadin) food and service without clashing with the main dining room?

Cuisine: Anything but Indian or Chinese.
Price: Anything short of the Per Se, Megu stratosphere.
Location: Manhattan. West Side or Midtown preferred, but certainly not mandatory.

Thanks!

    1. If you're willing to consider Tribeca, try The Harrison. Great food and service, The size of the room would be just about right for your party.

            1. Compass has two beautiful, glassed-in private rooms right off the dining room. it is a pretty, festive place with good quality food and service. I think it would be a nice spot for a family anniversary party.

                1. Thanks to all. I'll report back on the experience if any of these options are both family-approved and available.
