I'm flying redeye into Mobile for a cruise next week.

Any suggestions where I could find a nice breakfast on a Monday morning?

Downtown hotel restaurants maybe?

I'm not going to recommend any chain hotel restaurants on chowhound. My fingers might explode.

You don't need someone on chowhound to recommend a marriott/renaissance affiliated establishment, do ya? You can pretty much expect the standard fare from corporate places. I try to avoid ones with such moneybag backing and suggest you do the same. Check out the local, more chowhoundish sort of places to get a real feel for what Mobile has to offer. It'll be worth driving a little out of your way, promise.
