Chicken fingers good enough to serve a swarm of toddlers?? (Westchester)
Hi! Planning my little boy's 1st birthday party @ the house, and wanted to put a few kid friendly foods on my menu. I'm making most of the food myself, but I want to order chicken fingers for the kids, since they go over so well with the tiny folk!! Any recs in Westchester? Thanks!

The truth is that the kids will not care if they are high quality or not! But I understand why you want good quality.
For parties or entertaining large crowds of kids, I often get a few pounds of chicken fries from Stew Leonards. I generally order them in advance so that I am guaranteed to have them waiting when I arrive. I like them because they are pretty tasty (the adults always end up eating them too), and for small kids they are not big chunks of chicken, rather smaller strips.

Thanks, valerie -- forgot that Stew's has all those yummy fried finger foods! Good call!! I think I'll splurge on some of their mozzarella sticks too. :o)

My kids love their chicken fries! Also, depending where you are A& S in Millwood(and I am sure Thornwood)makes great homemade chicken fingers

I personally don't like the chicken fries. The first time they were ok. The next time they had a funky taste. Maybe the oil was off or they were old I don't know but we have not had th em again.

I don't know where you are in Westchester, but if conveneint I would order a tray from Garden Catering. There are a couple of locations in Port Chester and Greenwich

Park Deli in Port Chester has delicious chicken tenders/nuggets. Adults will like them too.
