my dutch oven cracked

a 5(?)qt. le creuset enameled dutch oven developed a large crack that rendered it useless. it was a gift last year and has been used sparingly.question: is ther any warranty help that i can get? how do i contact them? daughter bought it for us and didn t keep the receipt. thanks. art

  1. Click to Upload a photo (10 MB limit)
  1. Check their website The ovens have a lifetime warrantee -- call them and they should be able to help you with a replacement.

    1. Call them at 877-CREUSET. They will give you an RMA # to return it and send you a new one. Was it dropped or did you put cold liquid into the hot oven? That can cause thermal shock and crack the enamel but it shouldn't crack it clear through. Ask if you can just send them the bottom part to save on shipping costs. LC is a great company that stands behind their products.
