Carmel Area on Xmas Eve?

Any recommendations? We're in the area and our hotel isn't serving dinner on Xmas Eve which is a big disappointment. We'd love to find something cozy & good. Not in another hotel property, if possible.

Pacific's Edge at the Highland's Inn is divine. The service, food, wine list is beyond superb. The decor is understated for a good reason...THE VIEW! Cozy especially if you're fortunate to be seated by the roaring fireplace. It's pricey but worth it.
