Maybe Odd Request...

Hey all -

do you know anyone who sells gourmet croutons? yes, croutons. My boss who I like loves them and I'd like to find some great ones to add to a holiday basket. Yes last minute idea so hope I can find them in NYC but if necessary will do next day delivery.

    I noticed some yesterday in Bouley Market. Have no idea whether they are good or not though...

      I don't know, but the first place I'd call would be Zabar's.

        I've seen fancy packaged croutons at Zabar's. Fairway has a cellophane bag of croutons that are really good. And they're like $2/bag.

        Why not make some yourself; there are tons of flavor combinations you can make which will be as good if not better than the stores..and they are just so easy....you can package them in pretty holiday bags
