I have seen this brand at Target in WP and possibly at the D'Agastino's in Rye Brook. It might not have been the red label though. Another decent brand that you may find acceptable is Milka.
While your at the D'Agastino's pick up a package of Biscoff cookies...great find once only available on Delta flights.

cubanet, thanks, but just to clarify for others....I'm looking for this particular hard-to-find product, not Cote D'Or in general (which I know is widely available).
I don't know Biscoff, will have to find them!

Jim, I believe the Chocolaterie, which has stores in Nyack and in Newton, NJ, carries Cotes d'Or milk chocolate in the little square size. At least it's listed on their site: http://www.chocolaterie-nj.com/produc...

Thanks! Still stubbornly holding out for the red labeled bars, though!

I've been increasingly psyched about Walgreens. Wrote this about them last year: http://jimleff.blogspot.com/2008/09/i...

Ocean State Job Lot had some last week.

Thanks, never heard of them!
1. anything else there of interest?
2. do they tend to have the same stuff in all outlets? if not, what outlet were you in?

They usually have all or most of the same stuff at all outlets. They always have a fair amount of interesting items. I stop at job lot every 7-10 days as their inventory is always changing.
http://www.oceanstatejoblot.com/locat... this is the web address to find their locations.
Good Luck and Happy Holidays.
