sardines east bay

Hi...I checked out a string in September about sardines. Wondering if anyone knows if there are sardines available at this time of the year and where. Would love to find them in mid Contra Costa county but can also go to the Berkeley area, too, Thanks

    1. Call Monterey Fish. They have them from time to time when they are available. I am trying to recall where I most recently saw them - it could have been Tokyo Fish or Berkeley Bowl.

        1. I saw some nice ones at Hapuku in Market Hall, Oakland on Monday. Call and ask. You can usually pre-order stuff with them if you give them a day or 2 notice.

            1. I think Koreana Plaza often has them cheap. I'm not sure as they don't label them in English.

You might also try 99 Ranch. They're in Richmond, Concord, and Dublin.

                1. Thanks everyone. We found out it is not sardine season so we will have to try our recipe another time.
