Charming restaraunt needed for this sunday? Please advise

Ok..My guy is going to be 50 this sunday...and i need some suggestions for a nice charming..not to pricey place. We are sing a matinee in hollywood so I will be heading to dinner about 5pm. I'd love to find a cute place with a FIREPLACE..but i know that night be asking for alot. Last year i took him to PIZZICOTTO in Brentwood...small italian place with NY charm.That's my kind of place. Thnaks for your help

I'm not sure this completely fits the bill, but I like BoHo in Hollywood. It's probably close to your film location, and they have a fireplace. It's casual, and charming....but in a big space kind of way. And the food is quite good.

Lucques. I even think it has a fireplace and they may have the Sunday night prix fixe meal.

Love the fireplace @ Lucques! Right there as you walk in. Have made a meal on many occasions of bar snacks (which are formidable themselves) in front of it.

Yes, Lucques is wonderful. Also, I am very very fond of the upstairs patio at AOC - it's a totally different vibe than the downstairs dining room. No fireplace, but definitely charming, and excellent food.
