  1. Can't say it's midtown and I don't know if they have cupcakes, but Edgar's on 84th & Broadway has very good desserts and good selection of them are kosher. Cakes/pies mostly, some tarts too.

    1. My Most Favorite Place
      120 W. 45th Street, between 6th Ave and Bdway

      Kosher food + desserts

My Most Favorite is what I would suggest as well.

      2. Try the kosher board.

        1. I don't know how many Kosher bakeries these are left. The only one I can think of is Moishe's on 2nd Ave and about 7th St in the East Village

          1. Zaro's in Penn Station has good desserts.

I don't like the desserts at My Most Favorite- very overpriced and everything tastes parve even though they're dairy

William Greenberg has good cupcakes, but they're on the Upper East Side.

You could get cupcakes and desserts from Crumbs (38th and Broadway) or Magnolia (near Rockefeller Center) but not sure if those certifications are good enough.
