Right off 495 in between Marlboro and Chelmsford

I am in need of suggestions for a weeknight dinner for 8 somewhere between Marlboro and Westford. One half of the guests are from out of state and not familiar with this area, so the restaurant should be as close as possible off 495. I thought of Bamboo in Westford, but in case others are not interested in Chinese, does anyone else have any ideas for me? Not too fancy, because one of us is a small child. Any price range. Thanks!

Thank you for the ideas. I think Alloro is a good suggestion if we end up down by Marlboro. The location is perfect, right off the highway. I've never eaten there, but it's been on my list to try for a long time.

Tomasso Trattoria is great place to try. It may not fit your location parameters, but it's definitely worth trying. It's close to Marlboro and right on route 9 (close to 495)

I love J's too but I called and unfortunately they are not open on Tuesday night. Our guests are now definitely staying in Marlboro, so I am thinking Allora. Is there anything on Route 20 heading out of Marlboro into Northboro? The only thing is, the reviews of Allora here are mixed. Now that I think, Robert's suggestion of Chloe might work, it is not too far off 495. Over the years, I have had two really good meals there and two horror shows (both food and service!) and haven't been back for at least 2 years. Has anyone been recently? Thanks!

Heading from 495 towards northborough on 20 I like Linguine's for casual italian and pizza. Further down there is Yoong Tong for thai food. The indian place next to Five Guys is ok. At 85/20 there is Coral Seafood. Further down 85 a bit is Kennedy's pub, always have had decent meals there. I have also heard good things about Lazy Dog in marlborough on 20 but have not been. It is a sports pub/casual though.

I ate at Lazio (Italian) a couple times and loved it, but not recently. It's on 20 in Northboro, as are Romaine's(New American) and Mikaku(Japanese), all favorites.
