My friends couldn't get in 2 weekends ago. I went to the tavern last night. 8:30 on a Tuesday night, the place was packed!!
The restaurant was 2/3rd's full. They have done a fantastic job renovating the place.
We just had appeatizers by the bar. the pizza was no big deal...thin crust no flavor. My wife had the croque monsieur (french ham & cheese) with fries....that was really good. The burgers going by looked good. I'll try that next time. I thought it was a little pricey $9 for a pinot grigio, $12 burger. But overall a really nice job and exactly what HHK needs. The restaurant menu was a little fancier than I like, so I will probably just stick to the tavern. The outside patio will be really nice come the summer.›1 Reply
