Don't know when you were last here. The newest, best place for dinner is Michael's at the Gallery - dinner only, Friday and Saturday only. Reservations advised. 612-145-0500
Suki's has re-opened after a couple of years - a welcome addition. Very popular with locals. (Asian food -we get tired of Mexican food). Dinner only - reservations recommended - 612-145-0847
Tre Galline sometimes very good sometimes just okay. Santa Fe Deli is now closed - only the main restaurant is open - bring $$$$$$ The food is always excellent but it is ridiculously expensive.
Locals hangout for breakfast and lunch is La Esquina across from Casa Dracula in otro lado. Current favorite taco place for meat eaters (no tacos de pescado) is on the same side as Il Giardino - next corner. Forget the name but it is the one on the same side as Il Giardino - there is another, bigger one across the street. Il Giardino still good - their wood fire oven chicken is very good. Pizza at Buena Vida good also.
Miguel's still the best for chili rellenos and fresh fish. Zaguan still good for all seafood dishes - best fish tacos in town IMO.Some like Landi's at La Copa - in the Todos Santos Inn. Traditional Mexican dishes. (I'm not fond of her food, not sure why). Just be careful if you order a drink because the drinks come from la Copa and are quite expensive.
If you are doing any cooking our organic gardener, Basilfields, is open Monday thru Saturday - his stand is on the corner of Militar and Marquez de Leon - just up from the bus station. His lettuce, strawberries, arugula, basil are all wonderful, as is everything he sells.
You might also want to check out Rancho Pescadero - a fabulous new resort in Pescadero (disclosure - owned by a friend). The resort is quite gorgeous and the food really really good. Check out their web site -www.ranchopescadero.com
Todos Santos Cafe reopened under ownership of the Tre Galline people - have not heard any reviews.
