Christmas Eve Dinner in Oakland or Berkeley

I'm spending Christmas in Oakland and we have decided to go out for dinner on Christmas Eve. Can anyone recommend somewhere to eat? We are all serious food and wine lovers and would like a nice meal. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

If you're a serious foodie, Commis -- Oakland's only Michelin-starred restaurant (not to mention chowhound-approved) -- shows an availability at 8:30 on OpenTable (they might have other times as well if you call the restaurant).
