Crawfish in December

Headed down to NOLA this weekend for the Saints/Cowboys game. Does anybody know any place that might have crawfish this time of year?

They are small and expensive. Tastewise they are good.

I've seen them running about $11/lb, someplaces even higher. They really ought to let them live until spring

Holy moly, that's expensive. Pond-raised, boiled are about $4-5/lb in my neck of the woods right now.

A friend in BR told me this morning he paid $10.99 at Tony's but they were a pound..sometimes they cheat and you get those damned 12 oz things.

Gentilly area, around $4.50 a pound....
