Anniversary Suggestion Cool, Romantic, Columbus Circle UWS

I am looking for a restuarant suggestion for this Saturday anywhere from Columbus Circle up through the West 90s. It is for our 4th wedding anniversary. We want someplace romantic, but no boring. someplace cool with great food.

Budget and type of food is open

Would look into:
Asiate, in the Time Warner Center, good views....or some will say Jean Georges.

You might also try Ouest or Dovetail, which both have excellent food. Ouest is probably the more romantic of the two -- Dovetail's decor is not for everyone and it's brighter.

not sure how "cool" it is..but the food, service and atmosphere at Marea on Central Park South just a block from Columbus Circle has been exceptional on 2 different visits.

Good comparison bet'n Dovetail and Ouest (both top picks IMO). Ouest has a more romantic vibe. That said, the tasting menu at Dovetail is sublime.

Other notables: Cafe Luxembourg, Cesca, Mermaid Inn.
