Trying to figure out a venue for a holiday work party. Which restaurant is more expensive?

Keg is moderate price and usually pretty tasty. Steak dinner and some drinks is about 60 per person. Never heard of starfish.

Starfish has good steak frites for $30. Their seafood will be more than the Keg, but worth it.

You could eat at both for about the same price, depending on what is ordered. That being said, at Starfish, salads don't come with the mains- whereas they're included with some Keg dinners.

Most mains at Starfish are somewhere between $20- $35 (except for the lobster which is usually 2 lbs @ around $28/lb).

Keg mains run from $15.95(chicken)-$39.95 (2 lobster tails).

Why not just call each of them and ask if they could fax you a menu?

Starfish's menu changes regularly but this gives you a sense of the range.

i also imagine that with the small space of starfish, there might be a possibility they will want to run a set menu or not offer the full menu depending on the size of your party. it would be best to give them a call and see what it is they would do for you.

sounds like a perfect opportunity to do the 100 oysters with cocktails!

The price would be rather close yet Starfish would win hands down when it comes to food.

I agree, and yes, their frites are stellar. Worth the trip for them alone. Enjoy!

Had my 40th Bday dinner there and it was awesome. Oysters, oyster, more oysters, mussels, scallops and then steak frites.
