Sunday lunch cheesesteak?

Bada Bing Dec 14, 2009 01:04 PM

Turns out that in my two free days in Philly soon, one is a Sunday, and a fellow who's game to go with me on a cheesesteak quest only has Dec. 27, that Sunday, open.

I was thinking maybe a cab to John's Roast Pork, but they're closed that day. Steve's Prince of Steaks website lists no hours.

Any ideas about where two out-of-towner chowhounds might go on Sunday at 1:30-2pm? (We start near Reading Terminal Market, at the Marriott downtown.)

Thanks in advance...

Steve's is open on Sunday, I went there on a Sunday about 11 am. You won't be disappointed.

Sonny's and Campo's in Old City should both be open. Rick's in the Comcast Center. Cosmi's in South Phila (8th and Dickenson) are probably the closest open places. Search the board to pick your favorite!
