Peking Duck House - other dishes

Yeah, I know the duck is by far and away the best thing on the menu, but what other dishes are okay? I personally would be okay ordering just the duck but my friends will probably want something else. Like vegetables and noodles? I mean, it's got to be hard to mess up snow peas or Chinese broccoli, right?

Don't try the chicken dumplings. They're awful.

I've only been once, and a while ago, but I was pleasantly surprised by the seafood dishes (UES location)

I have had their "Rack of Lamb Peking Style" and it's really good. Also, I remember their wonton soup was surprisingly good. Another good dish to have is their "Grand Marnier Prawns"

You can try anything on the chinese house speciality but honestly I don't think the taste level would be any different. You are right they shouldn't mess up chinese broccoli but it is not like that's the symbol of chinese food (not to chinese anyway) Honestly, the duck isn't that great, and neither is the Steamed Pork Buns. It is presented nicely and a bit cleaner but thats about it. You might have better luck trying out flushing
