Eureka Area--winter updates?

We're spending part of the holiday in Eureka and are wondering what remains open between Christmas and New Years. We haven't seen much in the way of new postings so would be looking forward to any updates locals might provide.

Don't know if it's open during the holiday week, but you might try calling Larrupin Cafe in Trinidad to find out. It has reopened. I was so disappointed to not get a chance to eat there when I visited last year. But guess that means I'll have to return soon.
