A nice place to eat at -or extremely near- Universal Studios?

My family is going to the Dave Koz X'mas concert which is being held in Universal Studios.
We've NEVER been there!
Any ideas, anyone?

Ca del Sole should be your choice, and it is a good one, and it is just at the bottom of the hill from the amphitheatre.

Barsac Brasserie closed. It's now Firenze Osteria which got pretty much reamed today by S. Irene Virbila.

Ca Del Sole is definitely the best in the vicinity. But there are a few places at Universal City Walk that aren't half-bad ... Daily Grill, Wolfgang Puck Cafe or Karl Strauss ... and you can walk across the plaza from City Walk to the Amphitheater.

NOTE: Except for Ca Del Sole, the locatiojns on the minimap bear no relation to where the orestaurants are located on the Universal property.

The Daily Grill at City Walk is closed.

I was just at Caioti Pizza Cafe about a week ago for a similar reason. I wanted to eat someplace close to Universal Studios that wasn't in Universal CityWalk. For me Caioti fit the bill perfect for a nearby casual lunch before hitting CityWalk.
