Food on the brain Dec 12, 2009 02:38 PM

Getting a dinner and show package together for a Christmas gift. Show is not valid for the package deals so want to find a great restaurant to get for them. Show is on a Sat. night at the Princess of Wales (300 King W). What would be some of the best within walking distance of the theatre?

    Tutti Matti http://www.tuttimatti.com/

I like both Tutti Matti and Crush. Vertical is also quite easy walking distance (100 King West). Nota Bene is no further than Crush.

Thanks all! I'd forgotten about Nota Bene and Crush

If there's a performance on at the Four Season Centre that same Saturday, Nota Bene offers a three course pre-theatre menu. The menu is quite good and its designed to get you in and out before the show.

What about Sen5es? Is that within walking distance, and is it still good!?

Milagro, Chez Victor, and Ame (the new Rubino resto) give you another three high-er end options, but I can't provide any substantive feedback on any of these.
