Gingerbread House Baking Kits

I'm looking for gingerbread house kits, but ones where you have to bake the gingerbread yourself. Any ideas on where to find?

  1. I looked for these too because I wasn't sure if the gingerbread that comes in the kits are any good. I wasn't able to find any. So I ended up getting a regular kit from Williams Sonoma.

One way is to buy a regular kit, throw away the gingerbread, and bake your own gingerbread. But then that's almost doing everything from scratch, so why buy any kits?

Here is one recipe that I was tempted to try:

    1. Lee Valley sells a kit with the mold and recipe for the gingerbread.
