Searching for store to order gift basket or tray of prepared food in or near Lutherville, MD

Does anyone have any suggestions for a gourmet/catering/appetizing food store in or near Lutherville, MD? I need to order either a gift basket or tray of prepared food for a family in mourning. I know there's a Whole Foods in Baltimore, but I was hoping someone might know of a non-chain or local store that might have good prepared food.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Possible Wegmans (I doubt it though

#1 choice would be Gourmet Again

Gourmet Again in Pikesville is pretty terrible (we've bought food there that was actually spolied) and not close to Lutherville. If you are looking for a shiva platter, then the place to go is the Edmart Delicatessan, also in Pikesville and just a great, old-fashioned Jewish deli.

For a local store with great prepared food, I have never used Grauls and can't comment. But Eddie's of Roland Park -- one store on Charles Street and one on Roland Avenue is terrific.

Eddie's would be a great selection. They are very accommodating. I've used them personally for various events in the past. They also deliver and on the exact time. Just visit on-line, or in person, the Charles Street location. It's not that far from Lutherville.

I would not necessarily recommend Lenny's in Pikesville. The food is generally just "okay" and nothing special. If you are inclined to more deli=type cuisine, then EdMart would be a better bet. It's not as close to Lutherville, though, as Eddie's.

      1. Eddies of Roland Park

they have a location close to Towson

        1. lennies in pikesville will prepare what you want and deliver it

          1. Thank you all. I ended up ordering from Eddie's of Roland Park.
