Where has he gone? Has he sold Spinasse? Has staff stayed with restaurant? Does he plan to return? Sorry for all the questions but I'm getting all emotional. I was planning a return trip to Seattle and just saw that he has left.

Interestingly, I had read that Spinasse was better than ever (have't been back, can't confirm) and that the new chef won a major natioal award.

Yes Justin is at the Willows. Spinasse is a disappointment, the pasta is a pale shadow of what Justin was capable of creating. Overly sauced and not at all the Piedmontese cooking that was the original concept. They should have renamed the restaurant.

What a shame. Spinasse had lightning in a bottle. What happened? I just remember Neidermeyer looking very bored and almost disgusted when I was in there.

I've had 3 friends go to Spinasse recently and they all raved about it. Said it hadn't lost anything since Justin left. I'd like to go try it again myself. I loved it when Justin was there.

Don't know what happened for Ted, but I have been to Spinasse numerous times since Justin left, and it is wonderful. Pasta is the same, and the menu changes and expands wonderfully.

Yes, sadly, Justin left Seattle for new adventures. Spinasse is still open, pretty much the same menu. Not sure how many of the same staff are still there, you'd have to call them.
