Hanukkah jelly donuts in Pittsburgh?
Does anyone know where I can find Hanukkah jelly donuts (sufganiot) in Pittsburgh? It seems that the bakeries in Squirrel Hill that would have carried them (like Rolladin) have closed in the last year or two.

Did you try Sweet Tammy's? One would think a kosher bakery in Squirrel Hill would be a likely suspect, but there may be some reason they don't make these, don't know.

I just called Sweet Tammy's - apparently they're not making them.

The Dunkin Donuts on Forbes and Shady is kosher... that might be your only bet for Jelly Doughnuts. Also the bakery at the Giant Eagle on Murray (in Sq. Hill) is also a kosher pareve bakery and they may have them. Last year Milky Way had sufganiot but they were from someplace else and defrosted there... not worth it.
I've had some doughnuts from local establishments that make them and you're in for something less than stellar. I hate to be a spoil sport but the only good sufganiot in Pittsburgh are the homemade ones. This weekend a friend fried up an amazing batch of sufganiot. He veered from the usual and filled them with chocolate, they were amazing. If I can get hte recipe I'll post it here!
