Another Olecito?
Is it true there's an Olecito in the Boston Convention Center? Someone just posted a message on my blog mentioning this. If so, how long has it been open?

Any word as to what is up w. the one in Brookline? Still not open.

I've been sending messages to Olecito for a few weeks now, but haven't heard anything back. It looked so close to opening about a month ago, but no news at all of late.

I heard through the grapevine that the owners got sidetracked trying to get another branch up and running, but still have plans for the Brookline restaurant.

Don't know about the convention center, but it has indeed been taunting to keep seeing the Brookline one dark and unopened for all this time!

The new one on Comm Ave on BU Campus is up and running. I had a pretty darn good Torta there the other day.

I saw that the Brookline branch was getting its floors pressure-washed on Sunday night at around 11pm - talk about working under the cover of night! I wanted to stop and ask what was going on but didn't have the time. Hopefully they'll have it up and running soon!
