Buying Tiffins in Vancouver

Chomp Dec 9, 2009 11:08 PM

Does anybody know a good place where I can purchase a few tiffins at a good price? I'm guessing some shops in Little India might have some for sale, but I'm wondering if there are any stores in particular that might carry them.

Chutney Villa at Main and Broadway has them in their window with a sign advertising them for sale. I forget how much they were asking for them. You can even see them on Street View! http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&h...

Hmmm.....I think I'll go check 'em out at Chutney Villa....I want to buy quite a few, so I'm hoping they aren't too $$$. Thanks for the tip! Gotta love Street View....I can see my house, and it's so weird.....

I love that place at GI - I even have a couple of tiffins that I bought there, but I don't want to spend too much money. I take my tiffins back all the time for refills!

I think I have seen them at Wonderbucks.

I phoned Wonderbucks' Broadway location today. The girl who answered had no idea what a tiffin was; I had to explain. She said they don't have them. I think I'll call the Commercial Drive location tomorrow.
