I am attending one of the Holiday Prix Fixe dinners and paid for my seats weeks ago as soon as the tickets were being sold. The dinners are not "guinea pig / beta test/ preview dinners" as some of you wrote. These few nights of dinner parties are a small way to help
with the restaurant’s funding. Which is why you buy a seat and everything is covered. I think it is a smart way to help out a small business and assist with building a tiny teeny amount of money to help jump start them. If I owned my own place. I would do it the same way.For those that don’t know - The dinner includes 6-Courses, wine and beer pairings with each course, an open bar!!! and it includes gratuity. When you consider the whole package, it is actually an amazing deal!
I love Chris Israel’s food and from the photos just posted on facebook, the place looks stunningly handsome. I know I am assured a good time, with generous portions and pouring. I will certainly report back.
