Whole duck Baltimore -- where to buy?

Does anyone know where I can find a Long Island or Pekin duck in the Baltimore area? Willing to drive to the burbs if necessary.

I have purchased fresh whole ducks from the Amish Market in Laurel. Google Dutch Country Market in Laurel for the address but they are on 198. The ducks are very fresh and very well priced. (I think my last one was $12-$14). They also usually have cornish hens and the meat counter is great too.

There is a fairly new Asian grocery on Rt. 40 inside the beltway that has whole roasted ducks for $18. Quite good.

jfish, do you know the name or location of the grocery with roasted ducks for sale? I haven't seen that round here in a few years

I know that market -- just head west on 40 from the city, and it is about half-way down on the way to Catonsville on the right-hand side. Roasted ducks and roast pork is on sale in their small prepared foods area in the corner. The name is something like "Asia Market", and it's a reasonable size, though not as large as H-Mart.

Yes, I think it is the Asia Market. Maybe three miles inside the beltway. It is exciting to see the whole hanging ducks. They had half a roasted pig hanging there too, that I will have to try next time. The guy working the counter was very impressive with a cleaver.

according to their price list they only have frozen but it's from June, may be worth a call.

Wegman's has the D'Artagnan ducks fresh. They are very good. I also get ducks at Fenwick's in Cross Street Market, but they aren't as good as the D'Artagnan's IMO.
