Soup Nutsy in Toronto

Is there anything similar to Soup Nutsy in Toronto? A take out style place that specializes in quality soups. I love that place but its a little tricky for me to get too during the week. Was wondering if there was anything similar or comparable to it in Toronto or in the GTA.

Just looked it up online -- the soup place in First Canadian Place is called Soup It Up -- I find it better than Soup Nutsy which I do not like (the soups were kind of flavourless and bland). It's in the marketplace area near Kitchen Table underneath the King/York entrance.

Kitchen Table is under renovation so if you're looking for Soup It Up, aim for the Furama bakery and Rocky Mountain Chocolate places nearby, it's a few up from them.

Personally I prefer the soups from Ravisoup. Small selection but well executed.

Adelaide and Peter. I also really enjoy Ravisoups, although I've only tried the curried apricot/red lentil and the porcini mushroom/wild rice.

There's also a Soup It Up at the Bay food court at Yonge/Bloor. I find their soups thin and not really flavourful.

I really want to like Soup Nutsy. I've been a half-dozen times or so and always get a different kind of soup because I'm desperate to find something that I think is stellar, but so far I've been kind of unimpressed.

Their Gazpacho is, admittedly, delicious, tangy and refreshing, and by far the best thing I've had there. The next time I went, though, I ordered the Aztec Chicken Chowder and found it bland -- it reminded me of cafeteria Chicken à la King I used to get in elementary school, only without the rice. Their chicken noodle has nice flavour, but the noodles are so stewed that they have the texture of wet toilet paper, and it's not a mind-blowing soup in general. The Jamaican Crab Bisque I had was riddled with bits of shell and cartilage that crunched when I chewed, and I was wholly put off despite the interesting seasoning.

I guess what I'm saying is that I've only been wowed once, and by a chilled soup -- and at $8-10 for a medium soup, I expected more.

I'd love to find a better soup place close by as well.

Soup Nutsy has a second location in the underground concourse near the CBC. A bit easier to get to than the TD one.

Alternatively there's Ravi (http://www.blogto.com/restaurants/rav...). Also high quality soup but not quite the same and smaller selection than Soup Nutsy.

Soup Nutsy used to be in the TD Centre -- I think it's still there? There is another soup place in First Canadian Place that is about the same. I can't recall the name but it is down the stairs from the entrance at King and York.

You're not quite making sense. Soup Nutsy is only in Toronto. If you meant to say Soup Nazi then it's a big coincidence you mention Soup Nutsy.

I guess what im trying to say is that Soup Nutsy is the only soup specific place I know of in Toronto. Are there any other places similar to it in the GTA?
