ISO boerewors in Montreal

I've been picking up my boerewors in Ottawa and Toronto because I haven't found any in Montreal. Anyone know a local source?

I was wondering about that spelling - hey, Afrikaans! Is boerewors very different from Dutch boerenworst?

bigfellow, I've never had boerewors (boerenworst, yes, in Netherlands and Belgium) but googling it there are a lot of sausage-making recipes for it, as you are a chef, after all. This could be an innovation here!

Where can one find boerewors in Ottawa?

FYI - I asked a Mtl friend who grew up in SA if she knew if there was anywhere to get boerewors here and she doesn't, but said she'd ask around for you. If I hear anything, I'll let you know.

Thank you! I've lots of friends from SA and ZIM. None of them know of a place. Betsy of Betsy's Boerewors in Edmonton used to live in NDG when they first came to Canada. They usually won't ship boerewors this time of year because of the delayed travel time. They might defrost. But I have a pilot friend who will bring them for me. Betsy will have them at the airport for him.

Have you tried William J Walter? It's a long shot but worth a try.

Perhaps you could even get them to make you some if you bat your eyelids the right way...

I have tried batting my eyes at thm when asking...but I am a 265lb man...it didn't work. But thanks for the suggestion! lol
