New Years Eve "Foodie Events" in San Francisco

Does anyone have any recommendations for Foodie Events (special dinners, parties, tastings, etc.?) slated for the upcoming New Year's Eve in San Francisco?

I've heard there is going to be a graffEats Guerilla Dining event that night, but no details are yet available: http://www.graffeats.com/

I have a good friend traveling from L.A. and we would love to luck into a special menu or other event that night.

Thanks for any tips or suggestions!!

    1. What price and what age range? There is a ton of stuff, but you need to narrow it down to what you are exactly looking for.

From your Guerilla Dining event, you might keep an eye on Going.com. They cover everything, but there are also dining events in there.

My own opinion would be to focus on places near the Ferry Building on the Embarcardero where there are fireworks at midnight.

Epic Roasthause and Waterbar which are right on the water and near the FB, are putting on something called Vintage415

If they are really, really ... really into food, At The Dining Room at the Ritz iChef Ron Siegel’s seven-course tasting menu. Live band and dancing. A mere $500 per couple but it DOES include wine, tax and gratuities.

      There is everything in between.
