kosher costco

just wanted to give a heads up, that the costco on rockaway turnpike had what i can only describe as a kosher roadshow again last night

im guessing its to sample out stufff for peoples chanukah parties

last time, during the roadshow, i purchased a monterey jack that was delicious delicious for under $3, for a nice little brick, id definitely recommend it (specifically bc when i bought it, i bought two, and one has been in the fridge in a ziploc since around yom kippur and ive been taking off likttle pieces at a time since, and its still in perfect yumminess condition)

i also thought the apple kugel was very good, not too sweet

No latkes. Cheeses and Classic products. Not quite dinner, more like a nash. Still managed to spend $88 there. I am sure that if I go back now I will still find what to buy - sigh!

the huge piece of flanken ribs I bought there last night was $30 (going to rub and marinate them and slow cook them on the grill someday)
