Savannah breakfast

jeffbatl Dec 7, 2009 10:35 AM

after combing thru all the Savannah posts i haven't found what i am looking for breakfast wise. I am looking for somewhere with good homemade biscuits or with a local organic feel to it.
and good coffee is a must. i also don't want to venture out of Savannah.

I have found B Matthews to be a reliable source of breakfast. Pretty much all of the usual suspects with high quality ingredients.
There's also a great little bakery near Paula Deen's restaurant whose name escapes me at the moment.

We had an excellent breakfast recently at The Express Cafe & Bakery. It is family owned. Not sure about biscuits, but the baked goods we had were excellent.
