Kitchenaid mixer attachments in New York

HI there,
My kitchenaid mixer needs a new beater attachment for the holidays, and I was hoping to buy it in a shop rather than online since it would be faster. I asked at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and was told they only sell it online. If you know of a place I can get one in the city, please let me know. Thank you!!

Thank you for your great suggestions! It seems like there are a lot of options. Broadway Panhandler did not have any in stock, but I got one at Sur le Table. But the same problem that happened with the original beater happened (would not come off after first use, and once pried off, would not fit back on), so now I am looking for a service center I can get to without a car!!
        Thanks again, and happy holidays!

I've had problems like that and have gotten things back together by squirting Pam into the part that attaches to the mixer "drive". You might want to give that a go before dragging the mixer (heavy sucker that it is) all over town.

Broadway Panhandler probably does have them, but Zabar's should have them, too. Oh, and Bowery Kitchen Supply might have them. On the UES, you could try calling Gracious Home or Williams-Sonoma.

Try calling Broadway Panhandler. Then check with Kitchenaid online for local distributors - and parts suppliers.
