Fine Dining in Charlottesville, VA

I realize this may be a bit out of the DC scope, but does anyone have suggestions for fine dining in Charlottesville, VA?

Looking to give an anniversary present to parents visiting the area. Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

    For a parents' anniversary I would vote the Clifton Inn. You might also try the Mid-Atlantic board-- I think more Charlottesville questions get asked there.

      There is also Palladio at Barboursville Vineyards. A little outside of cville itself, but very good. We also ate at the Ivy Inn one time and it was very nice. While Duners has great food, pulling up it might not be exactly what you expect.

        Duners is excellent and best of list below.

          What sort of style:
          Elegant Country Inn - The Clifton Inn;
          Urban Chic: Tapas at Mas or Sushi at Ten.
          Steak: The Downtown Grille
          Other Favorites: Fluerie, Etoile, C&O, Orzo or outside of town, in Ivy, Duners.
