Costco San Diego vs. Costco Tijuana - Any Hints, Comments?

I hope the mods will leave this subject in place so I can learn from the Chowhounders.

Our angels, the people whohelp us with dog rescue work gave us a Costco membership.

We live in Rosarito, Mexico, near San Diego and Tijuana.

Do any Chowhounders have cross border experience with Costco? What are your recommendations and advice?

BTW, I will be posting this on the Mexico board, also.
