Briskets (Beaver Hall)

OliverB Dec 6, 2009 06:56 AM

Has anyone ever been?

I was looking at their menu and they offer deer burgers, caribou burgers, ostrich burgers, buffalo burgers and all sorts of other "exotic" hamburger meats.

Was wondering if it's worth trying?

I thought they closed about a year ago.

Nope, relocated or new management maybe... but they are still open and deliver through A La Carte. Have you been; Are the burgers worth it?

They merged with the other eating establishment on Beaver Hall(the establishment that has the pig knuckles).

          And... worth it or not??

They've quite a selection of unusual meats and game, but are they quality?

I haven't eaten at Briskets in years(as I told you I thought they closed a year ago). I didn't know they now offer exotic meats.

I had not thought of Briskets in decades. 20 years ago they had a location on Bishop I think. The smoked meat was tasty. Not as good as Schwartz's but much better than Dunn's.

Yes, your are correct. At that time, they were making their own smoked meat.
