Canto 6 in JP usually has monkey bread. Can't really go wrong with anything from Canto 6.

I think Canto 6 has the best in the city!

Sofra has an orange blossom muffin that breaks off in sections like a monkey bread.

Market basket sells a frozen version that you bake yourself. It is in the frozen foods where the bread dough and frozen fruits are.Never had it so can't vouch for it but I would think fresh out of the oven is worht some points!

i love love love monkey bread. if you don't end up finding it in these places, you may want to consider making it yourself. it's fairly easy (albeit somewhat time-consuming rolling up the dough balls and dipping them in butter and cinnamon-sugar). that said, LollipopTree makes an amazing mix that makes it alot easier: http://www.lollipoptree.com/category/.... you can find it at the little bakery thing next to deluxe town diner in watertown and it looks like blackstone's of beacon hill might have it too.
