Looking for recommendations in Montreal

Hi, I'm coming to Montreal for a week and staying at Hôtel Ruby Foo’s (7655 Decarie boulevard). Any suggestions on restaurants nearby? I'm an adventurous eater and looking for good flavours and restaurants that are unique to Montreal. I've been to Montreal about 6-7 times in the past and some of my favs have been L'Avenue (for brunch), Schwartz, and Au Pied Du Cochon.

There is nothing much nearby to Ruby Foos other than chain restaurants in the shopping malls at Jean Talon and Decarie. There is Pushup (vegetarian Indian) at 5195 Pare Street which is just a block or so east of Ruby Foos.

Thanks for the response. I just landed today and noticed the Dunn's which excites me but also that we are only 2 blocks from the metro. Ventured out to Vieux Montreal tonight and will definitely venture out again later this week.

Yes, you can get almost anywhere via the metro.
