Would love to know which restaurant at the St. Regis is worth eating at. I heard the Makana Terrace is outside, site of the old All You Can Eat Seafood site, but the Kauai Grill is more upscale. The St. Regis doesn't post menus....Any recs would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I have yet to dine at the Kauai Grill but have been told by friends that it is very, very good albeit quite expensive. I have eaten at Makana Terrace and would say that it is very similar to the old Cafe Hanalei. There were quite a few fish choices and IIRC I had the onaga? To be honest, the entree wasn't all that amazing nor was the service, but I was there very early in the opening. I had a lobster/shrimp bisque as an app and that was very good. I think I might like the food at Nanea better but obviously the ambiance of Makana Terrace more. But take that with a grain of salt since I did go so close to opening.
