A search of these boards will produce vehement detractors and vehement praisers of Table 8. I fall into the latter category. I found the food moderately inventive and well-portioned, and the atmosphere conducive to intimate adult conviviality. Others have spoken of just the opposite: too loud, too cramped, and too lackluster (food-wise). My expectations of the place were modest going in, and I was rewarded with a more than pleasant experience. Appetizers, entrees, and dessert for two resulted in a tab below $100 for us (without wine).
