Pasta Joint in Westchester?

We're looking for a pasta "joint" in/around Westchester -- your basic, mom-and-pop spaghetti place. Nothing fancy. Nothing chic. Just good a old-fashioned, inexpensive pasta and sauce shop.

Any ideas? Suggestions greatly appreciated!

    1. You'll probably get a better response if you limit it to some part of Westchester...Northeast, southwest, White Plains area, etc.

        1. Carlos' on Tuckahoe Road. in Yonkers has more than pasta on the menu, but it's a family-type joint with decent food, affordable prices, an old Bronx vibe and easy parking.

                1. I like Silvio's in Thornwood. I've only been once but have seen many accolades for Piero's in Portchester. As noted above, Augie's is good.

I don't think of Piero's as a pasta "joint". As a matter of fact I don't really like their pasta nor their sauce. I do, however, really like their meat dishes. I usually get a side order of veggies, just to avoid their pasta. For a pasta "joint" in Port Chester I'd think of T&J's or Frankie and Louie's

                      • Villaggio on Central Ave (next to Epstein's) in Hartsdale might be what you're looking for.

Frank's serves pizza but also has an extensive selection of pasta, salads, wraps and sandwiches. I am a big fan of their pasta. Love the garlic knots!
